The Rifle Paper Co. lampshade is an iconic print, with a mix of brown and teal hues. It is also finished with a hand-applied gold detail. This monochrome shade will suit most decors. The abstract nature of the design is reminiscent of a flower bouquet, which blooms all year round. The classic herringbone pattern is also featured in the design. It is printed on fine art paper and is hand finished. It will add an exotic and mysterious vibe to your decor.

How to deal with a navicular stress fracture?

A stress fracture within the navicular bone within the feet are not really a common stress fracture but may be rather limiting for an athlete if this happens. The stress fracture is really an overuse injury that happens to bone in response to greater activity levels. The navicular inside the feet are positioned just in front of the ankle joint towards the top of the mid-foot (arch) of the foot. Due to the placement that the navicular bone is at, it can get the subject of a lot of forces and when the navicular will not be adapted to that load, then a stress fracture could arise. Bone isn't a solid firm framework. Bone is really a vibrant living framework and is always updating itself with new bone cells and adapting to loads which will get placed on it. Taking part in sporting activity a good deal more load is placed on all bones, however the bones change and create fresh bone tissue within the bone in response to those forces. However, in the event that those loads grow too rapidly and the navicular is not provided with time to adapt to those increased loads, then a navicular stress fracture might occur. As a consequence of the place of the navicular bone, unnatural forces can also be higher on account of complications of the dysfunction of the feet.

A navicular stress fracture is recognized as a higher risk stress fracture as there might be long term problems with the blood flow to the navicular over the long term if it's not managed adequately. The pain sensation characteristically comes on slowly and gets worse with additional exercise. The discomfort is normally towards the top of the mid-foot (arch), just in front of the ankle joint. A distinctive symptom is soreness over what will get known as the ‘N’ spot, which can be spot pain on palpation right on the navicular. Imaging including x-rays or an MRI may be used to confirm the diagnosis, however it will take 2-3 weeks before it turns up on an x-ray.

When a navicular stress fracture happens to be diagnosed, you should stop all sport activity and if the pain sensation is serious then get a moon boot or walking brace for approximately 4 weeks. This can be considered essential mainly because of the potential for complications having a navicular stress fracture. You might use the pain sensation around the ‘N’ spot in order to keep track of progress. Not until finally that has got better is it possible to begin to with increased loaded exercises. Foot supports ought to likely to end up used early as they can help to lower any unusual forces which might be going through the navicular bone and support the arch of the foot. The most significant element of the therapy for this is the progressive rise in exercise levels. If that is carried out too fast, then there's a very high likelihood that it is going to happen yet again, and you'll have to go through the whole process yet again. Physical activity levels need to be very little by little increased. Just as increased force is placed on the bone, it requires time for it to adjust to that force previous to anymore higher load is placed onto it.

Turkey Initiates Investigation against CEO of FTX over Suspicion of Fraud

Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the former CEO of FTX, would also be answerable to the Turkish Government as the Turkish law enforcement agencies have initiated an investigation against SBF over allegations of fraud.

As a first step in the investigation, the assets belonging to SBF in Turkey have been seized by the authorities.

Turkish Probe of SBF

News published in the Turkish media was highlighted globally because the news item involved FTX and its former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF).

The news item suggested that SBF would be answerable to Turkish law enforcement agencies in allegations of fraud leveled against him.

As reported, the Turkish investigation against SBF shall be pursued by the initiator namely the Turkish Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).

It has been alleged by FIU that since FTX was doing its business in Turkey and huge funds of Turkish citizens are at stake, hence, the authority is suspicious of fraud.

The investigation has been assigned to a Turkish Federal Government controlled authority namely Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK).

MASAK shall hence be pursuing two separate probes, one against FTX and the other against SBF, suggest the news.

Seizure of Assets and Funds

As an interim measure, MASAK has reportedly seized assets belonging to SBF and of those local entities which were affiliated with SBF. Asset seizure was later confirmed on 23rd November by a local media outlet called ‘Anadolu Agency.

Nureddin Nebati, the Finance Minister of Turkey, commented that Turkish citizens were introduced to extreme risks in the shape of crypto investments.

He warned that digital asset markets must not be taken for granted and suggested a careful approach, if necessary.

Why Turks Got Involved In Crypto?

When worldwide economies were hit by the effects of a global pandemic, Turkey’s economy was already in turmoil. However, the pandemic fueled the economic crisis further which led to skyrocketing inflation rates.

As resultantly, the national fiat of the country namely ‘Lira’ gradually edged down and during the process Governor of the Turkish central bank was removed.

Left with no suitable option, Turks turned their attention towards digital currencies, such as Bitcoin, Polygon, XRP, etc., perhaps because the industry was booming at the relevant time.

Turkish investors have incurred huge financial losses at the hands of a deteriorating economy, crypto scams, crypto winter, and the latest by FTX’s fall.

Apart from Turkey, there have been separate probes initiated against FTX and SBF in various countries. Amongst these investigations, some of them are being pursued by authorities mainly in the US, Japan, the UK, and the Bahamas.

Action against FTX involved the suspension of licenses of FTX’s subsidiaries in several countries.

On the other hand, SBF has been named in multiple investigations which involve allegations of mishandling and misappropriation of public funds.

In the meanwhile, authorities in Bahama have sent SBF’s extradition request to the concerned authorities in the US.
