Description:
The successful candidate will provide primary administrative support to working Science Teams within the LTA and to external partners. This position requires rigorous university or college level training leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent. Duties will include anticipating and lifting heavy administrative burden including, but not limited to: event planning; data entry for project management and tracking; Web/IT skills/Web 2.0 knowledge; database clean-up; scheduling of projects/tasks/funding/logistical next steps; organizing correspondence in both hard and electronic formats; project management for grants and scientific collaborations; ability to translate science into lay language; ability to interact with diverse constituencies; coordinating meetings, travel and other activities, as necessary.
